Questions about this tool

Why does it show a different city?

IP location shows where your provider’s network is registered, often a nearby big city.

Why is there no IPv6?

Your network or router does not use IPv6 yet. Everything still works over IPv4.

Can someone find my home from my IP?

Not from the IP alone. Only your provider can link an IP to an account, usually with a legal order.

Why is the IP an example?

Reading your public IP needs our server, which goes live after launch. Device details work now.

Do you store my IP?

The live version will not keep a log of IPs shown on this page.
