How to use this tool

  1. Add your images Drop photos or a folder, or tap Choose images. A sample photo is already loaded so you can try it first.
  2. Choose how to resize Pick One side, Exact size, Percentage, Fit in box, Print size or Megapixels. Presets like 1920 × 1080 or A4 fill the numbers for you.
  3. Enter the size Type the width or height. For an exact size, choose Crop to fill, Fit inside or Add border so the photo is never squashed.
  4. Check the new size Each image shows the old and new size in pixels and KB. Small images are not enlarged unless you allow it.
  5. Download Download one image, or all images as a ZIP file.

Choose the right method

  • One side (long edge) works best when photos are a mix of portrait and landscape.
  • Exact size + Crop to fill gives the same size for every photo, cut around the centre.
  • Print size turns cm or inches into pixels using DPI (300 DPI is normal for photo prints).

Keep quality

  • Making a photo smaller keeps it sharp. Making it bigger than the original adds blur.
  • Use PNG for logos and screenshots, JPG for photos.
  • For a KB limit, resize first, then use the Image Compressor.

Print sizes

  • A4 is 210 × 297 mm. At 300 DPI that is 2480 × 3508 pixels.
  • 4 × 6 inches at 300 DPI is 1800 × 1200 pixels.
  • The DPI value is written into JPG files so print shops read the right size.

Questions about this tool

Will resizing make my photo blurry?

Making it smaller keeps it sharp. Making it larger than the original adds blur, so enlarging is off unless you turn it on.

How do I resize without cutting the photo?

Use Fit inside (the whole photo fits in the box) or Add border (exact size with a white, black, blurred or transparent border).

How many pixels is 3.5 × 4.5 cm?

At 300 DPI it is 413 × 531 pixels. Choose Print size, enter 3.5 and 4.5 in cm, and the tool shows the pixels.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Resizing runs in your browser on your device.

Can I resize many photos at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like or a whole folder, then download all as a ZIP.
