Questions about this tool

Does alt text help SEO?

Yes. Google uses alt text to understand images, and it helps image search.

Is this a full accessibility audit?

No. It catches common problems. Also test with a screen reader and the keyboard.

Should every image have alt text?

Every image needs an alt attribute. Images with meaning need words; decoration uses alt="".
