Make exam photos and signatures in the exact size and KB

How to use this tool

  1. Choose the document and exam Pick Photograph, Signature or Declaration, then your exam. The card shows the size, KB range and rules, with the source link.
  2. Add your photo or scan Choose a file, or tap Take photo on your phone. Use a plain white background and good light.
  3. Crop and zoom Drag the picture to move it and use Zoom so your face fills the oval. For signatures, Clean up makes the paper pure white.
  4. Check the green ticks The result shows the exact pixel size, the KB size and the format. All three must be green before you upload.
  5. Download and upload to the portal Tap Download and upload the JPG on the exam website. Keep a copy for later stages of the exam.

Photograph rules (most exams)

  • Recent colour photo, front view, eyes open, both ears visible.
  • Plain white or light background, no shadows.
  • No cap or dark glasses (unless for religious reasons, if the notice allows).
  • UPSC: face should cover at least 3/4 of the photo (per our source).

Signature rules

  • Sign with a black or blue pen on white paper, as the notice says.
  • UPSC asks for three signatures one below the other in one image (per our source).
  • Do not sign in capital letters if the notice says running handwriting.

Always check your notice

  • Rules change between exams and years. The official notice is the final word.
  • Every preset shows where its numbers come from and when we checked.
  • Use Custom if your exam is not listed: enter pixels and the KB range from your notice.

Questions about this tool

My photo is under the minimum KB. What do I do?

Keep "Fill up to the minimum KB" on. It adds empty data to the JPG so it reaches the minimum; the picture does not change.

Does SSC need a photo upload?

Our source says SSC captures the photo live during the form, and only the signature is uploaded (10–20 KB). Check your SSC notice.

Is my photo sent anywhere?

No. Cropping and compression run on your device. Nothing is uploaded to us.

My exam is not in the list.

Choose Custom and type the pixel size and KB range from your notice.

Why does the tool show a source link?

Exam rules change. The link shows where each number comes from and the date we checked it, so you can confirm it.
