How to use this tool

  1. Paste your Place ID or review link Type your business name, then paste the Place ID (starts with ChIJ) or the link from “Get more reviews”.
  2. Not sure where to find it? Follow one of the two ways shown: your Business Profile on a computer, or Google’s Place ID Finder.
  3. Copy, test and save the QR Copy the review link, open it once to check, and download the QR code.
  4. Print a card Choose a table stand, poster or sticker, pick up to two languages and a colour, and download the PDF.
  5. Ask customers and reply Copy a ready WhatsApp, SMS or email message. Use the reply templates to answer reviews.

Follow Google’s rules

  • Never give discounts, gifts or payment for reviews.
  • Ask every customer, not only happy ones. Do not ask for specific words.
  • Do not pressure people to write a review while they are still in your shop.

Get more honest reviews

  • Ask soon after the purchase or visit, when the experience is fresh.
  • Put the card where people wait: billing counter, table, waiting area.
  • Write in the customer’s language. Keep the message short with the link at the end.

Replying

  • Reply to good and bad reviews, politely, within a few days.
  • For a bad review, say sorry, and invite the customer to contact you. Do not argue in public.
  • Never post phone numbers, order details or other private customer data in a reply.

Questions about this tool

What is a Place ID?

It is Google’s unique code for your business on Maps. It usually starts with “ChIJ”. The review link is built from it.

Why can’t you read my maps.app.goo.gl link?

Short links have to be opened to see where they go. This tool works fully in your browser and does not open other sites, so use the Business Profile link or the Place ID Finder instead.

Can I get the QR on my phone?

Yes. Google gives the review QR only on a computer browser, but this tool makes it on any device.

Can I offer a discount for a review?

No. Google does not allow incentives for reviews, and such reviews can be removed.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The link, QR, cards and messages are all made in your browser.
